I grew up in San Francisco, California and attend the University of California, Davis. My interest in research and blogging started when I was studying for a career in exercise science. I learned the influence that physical wellbeing and mental health have on one another. I was inspired by research in Psychology and made the shift to pursue this field.
I witness how mindfulness in each day can improve our daily functions. We think clearly, stress less, and feel better about what we are doing. My research is hands-on as well as cited through research. I hope that through these posts, readers will get more of an understanding of mindfulness or a refresher on what it means to practice being mindful.
